Welcome to the home page for the VITAL '98 conference. VITAL '98 is a global virtual event, designed to facilitate collaboration among interactive training and learning practitioners and educators from around the world, that takes place entirely online.Registration for VITAL '98 provides you with access to a variety of interactive training and learning resources, and the opportunity to interact with a diverse worldwide audience. All this at a nominal cost when compared with the typical 2-3 day conference held in a hotel (and no travel is required!). Plus, the event archive will be available online for 6 weeks after the event ends, so you may review the event information at your own pace.

Keynote Speakers
VITAL '98 is proud to announce an exciting lineup of keynote speakers who will provide their thoughts on interactive training and learning. This will be your chance to interact one-on-one with some of today's leading thinkers. Keynotes will begin at 12:00 Noon (EST) on the first day they are scheduled.
Open Workshop
The open workshop is a common area where attendees can:
- Introduce subjects or questions relevant to your work,
- Interact and network with your peers,
- Discuss and debate issues not addressed in one of the other conference sessions
- Kick around development ideas, opinions on software, etc...
The open workshop is the attendees area - use it as a tool, to meet like minded people, to recieve feedback on a program - it's up to you.
